This morning our Two Little Ducks tucked into
two perfectly boiled eggs and soldiers. It’s
usually a bacon butty and cup of tea to start off
the day but unfortunately bacon supplies were r
unning a little low this morning.
Boiled eggs are a classic, we all loved the little
bread soldiers as kids but they are in fact
incredibly good at aiding weight loss. A scientific
study showed that those who start off the day
with two eggs are likely to lose two thirds more weight than those who don’t. The secret of the eggs lies in their ability to make you feel fuller for longer.
An experiment found those people who ate 2 eggs a day compared to other common breakfasts with the same amount of calories lost up to 65% more weight.
The high protein count in eggs is thought to be the reason why they keep people feeling fuller for longer. Rustling up two boiled or poached eggs for breakfast should leave you feeling less hungry at dinner though we can’t see our Two Little Ducks turning down their lunch.
