The national lottery has this week released a list of the luckiest national lottery names ahead of this Thursday’s £17 million triple roll over draw. According to their stats players winning over £50k are more likely to be called one of these names.

Women: Margaret, Susan, Patricia, Mary & Christine.
Men: John, David, Michael, Peter & Robert.

The Lottery said: ''With a rare £17 million Lotto Triple Rollover up for grabs, players will do anything to gain a little more luck.

''If you aren't lucky enough to be called John or Margaret, perhaps this is the time to form a syndicate with your fortunately-named friends, and why not invite David and Susan in too?

The national lottery roll over is only the 3rd triple roll over in the lottery’s history and must be won this Wednesday. If nobody manages to scoop the jackpot tomorrow the £17 million will be shared out amongst the people matching the most numbers.

Maybe we should name our Two Little Ducks John & Margaret for this weeks draw?
